The experience

Experience Corsica in a new way

Looking for a quick getaway? Starting from Ajaccio, this short trip immerses you in the wild, unspoiled beauty of Corsica, set between the sea and the mountains. It is a magnificent, compact route featuring welcoming villages that allow you to discover the best of Ajaccio and its surroundings. This journey is perfect for a first cycling experience in Corsica—whether as a couple, with friends, or with family.

The Cycling Corsica spirit: Corsica, within easy reach of your wheels.

At Cycling Corsica, we believe that cycling is one of the finest ways to discover the island: at a leisurely pace, simply, and in close contact with the very things that make it unique.

Our trips are designed as true getaways—moments to leave daily life behind, slow down, breathe, and rediscover the joy of fully savoring the present. A quiet road winding through the maquis, a village clinging to the mountainside, an impromptu swim, a meeting with a local producer, or a pause overlooking the sea... here, the journey is found as much in the miles covered as in the moments that surround them.

On a bike, you don’t just cross Corsica; you take the time to truly experience it. Our itineraries favor quiet backroads, unspoiled landscapes, local craftsmanship, and the encounters that tell the story of the island.

The Cycling Corsica spirit remains the same: reconnecting with nature, unplugging from the daily grind, and discovering a Corsica that is authentic, generous, and vibrantly alive.

The 3 stages, day by day

  1. Alt à définir
Right from this first stage, we find ourselves immersed in our bubble, and what bliss! The village of Sari d'Orcino reveals itself in a whole new light on bike - it's amazing how the view changes when you take your time. And this light! Soft, golden, almost unreal. The road then unfolds towards Arbori, and a few curves later the Vico convent comes into view, like a promise around the corner.
  2. Alt à définir
A discreet small road takes us gently towards Coggia, so close to home and yet so peaceful. All along the way, a breathtaking panoramic view accompanies us. Then, little by little, we descend back to the sea, until we reach the Pevani coast.
  3. Alt à définir
The road from Pevani where the incredible feeling of riding on water! The villages of Calcatoggio, Sant'Andrea d'Orcino and Canelle offer themselves to us, like suspended in the landscape. You would wish time would stop... or better yet, turn back and do it all again in the other direction, just to relive every moment.

The GT20 is the great cycling crossing of Corsica, from Bastia to Bonifacio over more than 600 km.
Cycling Corsica is one of its creators and offers several options:

    full GT20, GT20 North, GT20 South, and GT20 x GR20 for hybrid cycling & hiking enthusiasts.

  • Do you need to be fit to ride the GT20 in Corsica?

No. Thanks to premium electric bikes Riese & Mülller(VAE), the GT20 is accessible to all levels.

  • How many days does it take to cycle across Corsica?

The Great Corsica crossing (GT20) typically takes between 6 and 10 days depending on the chosen package.

The duration varies based on your level, the type of bike (electric or not), and your preferred pace.

Shorter versions (North or South) are also available.

  • Does Cycling Corsica provide electric bikes?
