The GT20, also known as the Traversata Maiò, links Bastia to Bonifacio across the whole of Corsica.
Ridden in full or in sections, the route brings together everything that makes the island what it is: sea, villages, mountain passes, forests, maquis.
Every day, the scenery, the atmosphere and the terrain change.
Everyone travels differently. Ride alone or meet up with the others: you choose, day after day.
At a Slow pace to take in the island, or at a Sport pace to link up the passes:

More than 600 kilometres separate Bastia from Bonifacio—and there is more than one way to experience them. Our team helped create and shape the GT20 from its very beginning, designing different itineraries so that every cyclist can find the journey that suits them.
The Complete GT20 is the full crossing, from Cap Corse to the cliffs of Bonifacio—the kind of adventure you'll still be talking about years later.
The Northern GT20 takes you from Bastia to Ajaccio via Cap Corse, the Agriates Desert and the Calanques of Piana: ever-present sea views and the hilltop villages of the Balagne.
The Southern GT20 links Ajaccio to Bonifacio through the Alta Rocca and the Bavella Needles, showcasing dramatic granite landscapes, the warmth of southern Corsica and the beaches of the eastern coast.
The Western GT20 explores the wonders of Corsica's west coast, from Calvi to Ajaccio—the island's most spectacular shoreline.
Each route is available in either Slow or Sport mode. And if you're still unsure, give us a call. Describing Corsica is our passion—and helping you choose the perfect crossing is part of what we do.
On the GT20, you decide how much you want to challenge yourself. It's your crossing.
Our team takes care of everything else: logistics, luggage transfers with our Comfort package, carefully selected accommodation, and assistance at every stage. And if you're not travelling with your own bike, that's already taken care of too. Our fleet belongs to us: premium trekking e-bikes and carbon road bikes, maintained in our own workshops and delivered to your starting point at the preferential rate reserved for guests on our tours.
At the end of each day, everything is ready for you. All that's left is to enjoy a good meal and a restful night's sleep before setting off again. Travelling light isn't just about carrying less luggage—it's the philosophy behind every one of our journeys.
This journey is also about discovering the real Corsica. We have travelled every stage of the route ourselves to carefully select places to stay that genuinely moved us.
Family-run guesthouses, mountain lodges managed by people who know the maquis by heart, and hosts who prepare traditional Corsican recipes: each morning you wake up to views worthy of a postcard, and each evening you enjoy local produce lovingly prepared with passion.
At the end of every day, whatever road you've travelled, one feeling remains that nothing can replace: being welcomed, expected, and treated as a traveller rather than a tourist. And above all, you'll take pride in completing the GT20, one of Corsica's most iconic cycling routes—a journey that many dream of experiencing.
