Discover Corsica differently
From Bastia to Ajaccio, the GT20 Nord runs from the tip of Cap Corse to the gulf of Ajaccio in 8 days. A crossing at a Slow pace: 8 stages of 35 to 65 km, to discover the north of the island without ever pushing the tempo.
You set off from Cap Corse and its Genoese towers, follow the beaches of the Agriates desert, reach the hilltop villages of the Balagne, then the red cliffs of Piana listed by UNESCO, before coming to Greek-founded Cargèse and Ajaccio. A Corsica of the coast and of villages, changing its face by the day.
The Slow pace leaves you the time for it: the time to stop on a beach, in a village, at a producer's table. The great crossing, within everyone's reach.
Our trips are shaped by a single conviction: no two people experience a journey in the same way.
Some dream of crossing Corsica in total autonomy, facing the island on their own. Others love the idea of crossing paths with fellow travelers, sharing a drink in the evening, a leg of the journey, or a conversation. And many want a bit of both, depending on the day or their mood. That’s why we’ve designed our trips to let you make that choice, from the first day to the last.
A few days before departure, you can join a WhatsApp group with other travelers setting off on the same day as you. It’s a place to share impressions and discoveries, arrange to meet up for drinks or dinner, and sometimes even make new friends. Our team moderates the group throughout the journey. Your travel guide provides everything you need to experience the crossing fully and independently: the route, the daily stages, our recommended spots, and must-see locations. "Ride solo or meet up with others—you don't have to decide right now. That’s what traveling freely is all about."

Discovery of the east coast of Cape Corse carved in a corniche at sea level and lining pretty little marine villages.

On the west side, the abrupt coastline dominates the shore spectacularly. Superb panoramas of Cape Corse and Saint-Florent bay.

The stage begins with the crossing of the Agriates desert then the promontory villages of upper Balagne offer us breathtaking panoramic views of the bays of Calvi and Île Rousse.

Discovery of the magnificent villages of Balagne by an itinerary of secondary roads. Many craftsmen are waiting to be discovered.

Climb to the Marsolinu Pass with a magnificent view of the Calvi country. Galeria is isolated on the coast, this village is a haven of peace far from summer bustle.

The road takes us towards the rich western coast of Corsica. At the Palmarella Pass we await one of the most beautiful panoramas of our stay.

This stage is shorter but offers you many variant possibilities available in our route journal! After climbing the Calanches of Piana we continue towards Cargèse and its two churches: the Greek and the Latin which face each other above the sea.

You will skirt the coast to reach the Imperial city. There are many beaches, turquoise water and white sand are an invitation to swim!
