Itinerary

Alt à définir

The 7 stages, day by day

  1. Alt à définir
Discovery of this very wild part of the coast. The view is magnificent throughout. The road may be damaged in places - for road bikes, favor the passage through the Col de Marsolinu and its magnificent view of the Calvais region.
  2. Alt à définir
The road takes us towards the rich western coastline of Corsica. At the Col de Palmarella we await one of the most beautiful panoramas of our stay.
  3. Alt à définir
The ascent of the Col de Vergio with the magnificent gorges of Spelunca ! Discovery of the Niolu region with Monte Cintu and Paglia Orba on the horizon.
  4. Alt à définir
Descent into the Scala di Santa Regina, a spectacular passage where sheer cliffs and grandiose landscapes plunge you into the wild soul of Corsica. Then an ascent into the magnificent Asco valley, a true natural jewel. Transition day GT20 - GR20 - recovery of bikes and delivery of your hiking backpacks - night in Asco.
  5. Alt à définir
The Asco – Carozzu stage of the GR20 is short but very technical, with steep elevation changes and exposed rocky passages. It offers superb panoramas, particularly of the Asco valley and surrounding needles.
  6. Alt à définir
The Carozzu – Ortu di u Piobbu stage is long and demanding, especially with the climb to Spasimata and its aerial walkways. The views of the ridges and sea amply reward the effort.
  7. Alt à définir
The Ortu di u Piobbu – Calenzana stage marks the end of the northern GR20, with a long often hot and rocky descent. It offers beautiful views of the Balagne and sea as you approach the village.
